Relational Behaviour Approach
At Clifford Bridge Academy, we promote positive behaviour through strong relationships, clear routines and high expectations, helping every child to be Ready, Respectful and Safe. We believe that behaviour is learned and that children are most successful when they feel safe, understood and supported. Staff work closely with children to teach positive behaviours, emotional regulation and respectful communication, using a "connection before correction" approach to help children reflect on their choices and learn from mistakes. While we are caring and understanding, we also help children recognise that their actions have consequences and support them to take responsibility, repair relationships and contribute positively to our school community.
